Approach
With advanced training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I bring over a decade of specialized experience to my work. Trained by leading experts in the field, I integrate mindfulness principles and evidence-based methods into every psychoeducational assessment. My approach is also informed by my roles as a parent and military spouse, creating a balanced, comprehensive perspective. My goal is to offer each family a thoughtful, accessible, and personalized experience to support their unique journey.

who have lived in harmony with these lands for thousands of years. We honor the Mi’kmaw people’s deep connection to the land, water, and resources, and we are committed to fostering a relationship built on respect and reconciliation.
We also recognize the enduring presence and contributions of African Nova Scotian communities, whose history in this region spans over 400 years. Their strength, resilience, and culture continue to enrich the fabric of Nova Scotia.
In addition, we affirm the dignity and rights of all individuals, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation. We honor the experiences of women, recognizing their vital role in history and society, and acknowledge the ongoing struggles for equality that many women face, particularly those from marginalized groups. We are committed to creating a space that is inclusive, equitable, and respectful of all.
As we work and engage within this community, we are dedicated to learning from, supporting, and uplifting Indigenous and African Nova Scotian voices, ensuring our practices reflect inclusivity, respect, and equity for all.
★★★★★
“I am a teacher who works with children with complex learning needs. I’ve read many psychoeducational assessment reports, and I can honestly say that Sarah’s have arguably been the best. You have a gift with words, which is evidenced when you are expressing/analyzing assessment outcomes and observations! In summary, you do a fantastic job, and I highly recommend”.
